Well, I was considering getting one of those really tiny eco server things (they're silent too) to just sit on the shelf next to my Touch, with a couple of hard drives plugged into it. I would rather not have a long ethernet cable trailing across the room from my router (sure, it would work, but sending digital streams over long wires does introduce errors and diminish sound quality) - but I guess I could move the router nearer to the Touch, that's not completely out of the question. I do want to keep the signal path as short as possible.
