Profile switching, make sure everything is NOT checked. For now, disable smartbeaconing. Same with LV disable.
The pinout on the T2-301 is NOT the standard RS-232, you need the special cable which breaks out the 2 serial ports and the power. Then you need the usual null/genderbender cable setup. If you decide to roll your own adapter cable, consider bring out the 1 wire port to a RJ-11/12 jack as well as the 2 serial ports and the power connection. Using a terminal program, default is 4800 8n1 hit CR several times and you should see a prompt. Type in DISPLAY just to confirm that its talking. SETPOWER and SETFREQ don't echo to the consol. Once you get all that squared away, start confusing yourself further, with the smartbeaconing and profile switching. The T2-301 is a great little package. The function of ham radio is to add confusion to life. --- In [email protected], "Joe" <weewo...@...> wrote: > > First problem is that the configuration console opens intermitantly.
