Thanks Larry, I now have the freq set and I tried the power at 75 and it sent a 
short burst of RF which was picked up on a monitor but no APRS data.  Same for 
setpower 75.  Left it at 50.  Will have to play around with these.  Now all 
this has been done with the T2-301 connected to the PC.  What do I have to do 
now to go operational.  I have one of the Argent GPS units ready to connect to 
the radio but will no longer be able to configure the unit.  Thanks to all of 
you for your help.  You have walked me through a process that would have taken 
me forever to figure out on my on.  73,  Joe
