Hi Clytie, Your goal made me think of the OpenFormula approach where they created small, medium, large and huge sets of Spreadsheet formulae. That's I guess what your trying to do :)
Your question about comments. Well you can add them not sure if we search them. Almost certain the terminology matching doesn't search them. It would probably display both items and rely on the comments and the user to know the difference.
