I regret to have to correct the above, but a serious hitch has occurred due to the failure to note the difficulty caused by Pepsi. In principle, it is no different using two Pepsi cans connected by a piece of string to using two Coke cans. Naturally the shorter wavelength of transmission in the blue than the red will alter the propagation characteristics, but this can be allowed for. What has been overlooked is the possibility of the transmitting can being blue and the receiving red (or vice-versa). This will produce severe attenuation and distortion, and the committee cannot commence its work until this has been resolved. -- Bill Lyons - [email protected] / [email protected]
