That's the thing... I've been completely unable to sync the music to the card via the Treo itself using the software that will leave me with enough empty space for Palm things, such as my nightly backups, etc. The software that will complete the job of transferring the music has no option to allow for that. I've tried with two different 2G cards, one from PNY and one from Dane-Elec, and a class 4 4G SDHC from Kingston. (The Kingston card is now in my camera.) > Formating it with a 32K file allocation sped my transfer time up as well. I don't have an 8G card and I'm skipping past it... is 32k clusters larger or smaller than default? When I format a card in the Treo or in my camera, I don't get a choice of cluster size at all, and with the 2G cards, I Windows isn't giving me a choice either. -- Jeffrey Kaplan www.gordol.org The from userid is killfiled Send personal mail to gordol "And there's no doubt in my mind, not one doubt in my mind, that we will fail." - George W.
