For me - the Treos (and Windows Mobiles) are currently the best blend of corporate and fun. The iPhones are only iCandy fun machines right now (we'll see what this SDK does) and the Blackberries are business only. BUT, as Craig said, Android devices could fill the niche that Palm occupies and, with their reach on the software/content integration side and with handset makers already available, those Android units are going to eat away marketshare to the point that you won't be sure that every carrier will want to feature a Palm Phone. Plus as we saw with the GPS issue, Palm will have to spend time to make sure their current phones don't fall that far behind in featureset. Will that push the OS back even more? About the only thing I think could save them is for them to offer something that neither iPhone or Android can now. What that is, I don't know, but I suspect it needs to be based on the new 4G technology (assuming, as Scandals said, the towers actually go up). Perhaps DirecTV on your phone, perhaps live video blogging, who knows.
