Jomo, which device are you now using? I have stuck with palm for years until this January when I converted to the Blackberry. I've tried all other devices (WinMob, etc) and always felt the loyalty to go back to palm. I missed the palm then. But now I could care less about palm. They went from a solid device in the early PDAs to just plain crappy smartphones. The Treo 680 was the worst and that's what broke my camel's back.

The Blackberry battery life is so much better than a palm device. Their power mgmt is great. Dim screen and lights when not needed with their light sensor. Sleep mode while not using it while also ready to receive push email. Frankly, it's just awesome that the mail just comes and I don't need to stop whatever else I was doing to poll the mail.
