Michael D:   Blainer or Dave H. I am trying to understand when did the Father ceased to be a man and become God. Can one of you give me an authorative LDS scripture on this?
>
>Blainer) Yes, I believe Jesus to be God--but more exactly, God because
>he is the Son of God, and stands on the Right side of God. He is
>subordinate to his Father in Heaven, who is the supreme ruler of the
>Universe. But the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are ONE GOD,
>meaning they are one in heart, mind and purpose. This means they agree
>perfectly in all matters--there is absolutely no difference between them
>in what they do or say. One may speak or act in the place of the
>other--they are one. If we, through faith, repentance and good works,
>become like Jesus, then we will be one with him and the Father, as they
>are one. This is the ultimate goal of God, to make man one with Him and
>the Son.
