Blainer) Yes They would have remained in a state of innocence and immortality. Genesis 2:25 "And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and they were not ashamed."
But after eating the forbidden fruit, they knew they were naked, and were ashamed. Genesis 3:21 "Unto Adam also and to his wife Eve the Lord God did make coats of skins, and clothed them. After Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, God first cursed the serpent, then he cursed Eve, then Adam. Eve's curse was to bring forth children in sorrow and discomfort, and to be subject to her husband. Genesis 3: 16 "In sorrow thou shalt bring forth children . . . , and . . thy husband . . shall rule over thee. Genesis 3: 20 "And Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living." Genesis 4:1 "Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived." (Only after they had been driven out of the garden.) Does it apply to all of creation also? Blainer) No > Did God > cause the animals and plants not to reproduce until after the fall? Blainer) No, they were able to reproduce all along. > > Peace be with you. > David Miller. > > ---------- > "Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you > may know how you ought to answer every man."
