The more I think about Herbert W. Armstrong the more it sounds like Marlin has been influenced by him or Garner Ted Armstrong.
Marlin, do you follow, read after, or keep up with Armstrongism?

1. He believes the lost tribe of Israel is America just comes to my mind. It is called Anglo-Israelism.
2. The only true church was the World Wide Church of God. GT's has a different name.
3. Armstrong was the only true interpreter of the Bible.
4. Old Testament Sabbath, and I think maybe dietary laws, are to be followed to achieve salvation.
5. Salvation is future not present.
6. To go to heaven you must be immersed by a Worldwide Church of God minister.
7. Being born again has nothing to do with salvation. It has something to do with spirit beings in heaven.
8. The Trinity doctrine is pagan.
Glenn, What is the name of his church? You know Hank Hanagraaf, the “Bible Answer Man” on the radio? He loves to run down a lot of Christian leaders as heretics, etc. Yet it seems that he has said that Armstrong has repented of his past wrong beliefs, etc, and he accepts him as a real Christian now. That’s quite something coming from H.H. Am I wrong about who he was talking about? Izzy
He was the man who was quoted in the link against Christmas you sent about the pros and cons of Christmas. I'm sincere when I say it good for Marlin to tell us what he believes without being sneaky. I thank Marlin for coming out of the closet.
