What you have identified here is the doctrine of the Nicolaitans which God
hates.
God is a jealous God.

Following men instead of Christ makes them our gods. We may, however,
follow a good axample:
3JO 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good.
He
that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen
God.
The lure of many of these groups, unfortunately, is that they dare to teach
some of the truths that others will not teach.
