Blaine: I am behind, as i have been accepting sub teacher jobs with the local district. I have another one today, so will try to get caught up on you, at least.
Yes, by all means, look the conviction up. I already know he was convicted, but the final disposition of the case is not given--it was apparently dismissed. There is no reason given for the dismissal. The man who hired Joseph Smith to dig for treasure, a local farmer by the name of Josiah Stoal, filled out papers to post his property as a bond if necessary, but the bond was never required. So, what apparently happened was that Joseph Smith was never sentenced--for whatever reason is not stated. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Miller" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, February 18, 2004 3:11 PM Subject: RE: [TruthTalk] Catholic priests/child abuse victims > Blaine wrote: > > JS was issued over 40 arrest warrents in his lifetime, > > and beat them all--except the last one when they murdered > > him and his brother Hyrum. > > That's not true, Blaine.
