James tells us that pure and undefiled religion is  ......  benevolent and caring activity.  Is that the full picture of true religion?   I Co 11:6 insists that a woman in church should have her head covered  --  with no regard for the cultural implications of this adominition.    Mark 16:15-18 has Christ giving different wording in the Great Commission than in Matt 28:18-20.   The story of the resurrection morning is told differently in the gospel accounts  -- with no regard to the problems this causes the reader.   john
