jt: This is actually part of Servetus' teaching that Calvin called pantheistic saying that if Servetus kicked a rock
on the sidewalk he would be kicking and walking upon the majesty of God.  Sounds goofy but I would mark
one up for Calvin on that point.  Separation IS scriptural and for this reason it is true and in harmony with
2 Tim 2. See also below...

"But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you,
so that He will not hear".[Isaiah 59:2]

"If I regard iniquity in my heart the Lord will not hear me" [Psalm 66:18]

The term 'separation from God' is both deadly nomenclature and, untrue. There wasn't, isn't and, won't be anywhere He's not.

Lance, not ALL who are created by God belong to Him.  It is our free-will choice, as He is not a puppeteer:

2 Tim 2:   19Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, " The Lord knows those who are His," and, " Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness."
20Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor.
   21Therefore,
if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.

Yes.   Universalism verses Universality.

John, please elaborate (again) on what you see as the difference.  I still cant see much.  Izzy
