Why is this not "interpreting?"  And why is this even necessary in view of the supposed fact that the Spirit is the teacher?   I mean, He can give you the "intent" of the biblical writer without giving you the proper words to express that gifted view?

Agreed!  This one reason why we bring forth the Scriptures to one another, 
that we might accurately reflect what God thinks, and all speak the same 
thing.
