To be fair, O did do TDS last week, though on the news-comedy
continuum I guess that does skew closer to news, and it was an
interview. I would score that pretty much like McCain doing the
O-Factor.

I don't mind these guys doing a little entertainment during the
campaign - it is not as if either have been skimping on the "serious"
campaigning.  I think Palin's SNL can be criticized more along these
lines than McCain's, since she has limited her access to serious
interviews so much. I thought I had heard that both O and M were going
to be on SNL this week, and I was a little disappointed they did not
balance that out a bit.
