Dad wishes he could *always* get simple answers out of me, but that's
impossible; the answers he's seeking sometimes aren't so simple, like, say,
whether there's a public email address for the (rather famous) company that
makes his favorite (smoking) lighter. (I don't believe there is, as the
company's well into the smartphone-app era; I believe they only have their
phone number and whatever online contact form(s).)

I feel I've finally reached the realization that he does not want to eat a
lot at any meal, ever again. Maybe now I'll make his dinner earlier, in
case I want to go get takeout; I hate to think any of the family intend to
keep me from doing 'me' things. I just hope that he tells his MDs at least
some of the same things he's told me these past few days. Maybe if he stops
thinking about certain 'natural' things occurring, maybe they will occur...

*When that health-insurance-accountability law was enacted under the
Clinton administration, protecting patients' rights to control who accesses
health-related info about them, he asked his MDs to bar anyone in the
family other than mom and their oldest son (my older brother) from such
access. Only the docs know for sure if anything about his condition impacts
those bans.
