It worked as a deterrent. No puddles.

His coughing is very bothersome. But what he's bringing up doesn't suggest, 
say, pneumonia.

Today for dinner I made him one of those English-style meat pies 
<http://www.mrpastie.com/> (link) produced for years in the north of our 
county... he said he'd had one of those five days ago (he's delusional... 
we had sliced turkey... only thing in common was gravy)
