PGage's assertion of added value for "Oscar nominated" and "Oscar winning"
does not necessarily scale to the top of the list for salary. The top
grossing films will pay out top dollar for their stars and those films tend
to be superhero franchises and Bourne or Fast and Furious action movies.

There are also a lot of stories of people breaking into the business who
note that an Oscar nomination means steady work or moving from character
roles to leading roles.
