For instance, companies involved in the healthcare industry need to know how their vendors systems handle data collection, privacy/security concerns, and conformity to government regulations. If they use an application that has gone through regulatory testing already, it provides a benefit as opposed to having to start from scratch to make sure it is an adequate solution.
