Amazingly enough there is some validity to the car to database comparison. Dawn - you asked why people continue to buy this product when so many have noted the increased operating costs and apparent lack of significant upside. Simple. Ask some CEO how they like their new Oracle system. Chances are they'll say "Its great, we love it". Its a normal "Pride of ownership" thing. Have you ever asked someone "How do you like your new car" and had them say "It stinks"?
