Actually I was working from the email list sent out by Spectrum looking
for comment from the teams that were confirmed starters and also the
judges ....

Last year I think there were 8 or 9 teams of 1 or 2 people ... less than
15 "contestants" IIRC. I'm not sure if the Spectrum people were
expecting a bigger turn out this year, but they are looking at ways to
"improve" the format for next time I believe
