In my experience with UBNT gear, if you are using a DFS channel and you have not set a channel list, it will jump to a random channel upon detection. This can cause a lot of issues with colocated equipment. I have also found that when you are setting three DFS channels in your list; if it jumps through all three and gets a detection on all of them, it will still jump to a random channel. This is it's alternative to just shutting off for an hour. We now put all DFS APs with a channel list but make sure that the last freq in the channel is a non-DFS channel (whichever one would cause the least amount of disruption to colocated devices). Then, we monitor the frequency with SNMP so that we get a notification if it changes channels.

Nanostation m5s throw me off the most since they do some eds channels but not all so it's easier to get lucky and work out of the box and forget on them.
