@John Hagerman
By comparison to Mateusz Stachowski's log, I can see that the file
IndicatorLog.txt (automatically attached from your system by Apport) is a
complete log, and corresponds specifically to indicator-weather. Therefore, it
is not necessary for you to provide the information I requested in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/weather-indicator/+bug/821832/comments/4 -- you can
disregard that request. I apologize that I did not figure this out much
earlier, which was due to my limited personal experience with indicator-weather.

Your IndicatorLog.txt confirms that indicator-weather is not running
when it is relaunched, as you had said in
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-
weather/+question/165001 (post #10). Unfortunately, it does not provide
any information about what caused it to terminate.

Unexpected program termination is frequently due to crashes (where a
program terminates to some special abnormal condition, due to it being
in a state where it cannot continue running). So please enable Apport
crash reporting using the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport, and see if a crash report is triggered
next time indicator-weather disappears. If so, please submit the crash
report, which will create a new bug report. Fill out the new bug report
with all the information you have provided here (and any other
information you think is important), and submit it. Then you can mark
this bug report a duplicate of the new one, using the green "Mark as
duplicate" link near the upper-right corner of *this* bug page.

Crash reports submitted by Apport default to private visibility, because
sometimes, automatically attached data could reveal sensitive
information (like passwords, credit card numbers, or the contents of a
user's sensitive documents). This seems very unlikely to be a risk for
data reported for a crash of indicator-weather, so I'd encourage you to
go ahead and mark your new bug as public after filing it. If you want
more familiarity with why some bugs are private, see
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/HowToTriage#Apport_crash_reports. Please
note that it is acceptable (though sometimes not prudent) to make your
*own* bugs public even if they have CoreDump.gz attachments (but you
should not do this with other people's bugs, unless by their explicit
request).

If no crash report is triggered when indicator-weather disappears after
you enable Apport, then please report that here (and also if there are
any .crash files inside /var/crash).
