Do you know if you enabled Apport (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport#How_to_enable_apport)?
If you are not sure if it is really enabled, try opening a Terminal window, running nano (type nano and press enter), then open a new tab and run "killall -SEGV nano" (without the quotes). If Apport is enabled, you'll see a dialog box like https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=apport- gtk-desktopfile.png (but for nano rather than devhelp). This confirms that Apport is enabled. Please don't actually submit a bug report for the nano "crash", since that is not really a crash (we made nano "crash" without it actually doing anything wrong). If indicator-weather disappears from your panel while Apport is enabled and there are no .crash files in /var/crash, then we can be pretty sure that the termination of indicator-weather is not due to a crash (not in the strict sense, anyway). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/821832 Title: indicator-weather disappears from panel randomly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/weather-indicator/+bug/821832/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
