Unue: Kio signifas "back port" ĉu temas pri "iu haveno kiu troviĝas en la
malantaŭo"? :-)
Ĉu temas pri "rezerva ENIREJO" aŭ eble "neoficiala ENIREJO", sekreta ENIREJO ,
sekreta alvokadreso aŭ sekreta eniradreso al la komputilo. Eble temas pri
unudirekta / dudirekta "reira / enira pordo" per kiu eblas enigi datumojn al
la komputila memoro.
La propono "retroportaĵo" ŝajnas al mi iom stranga. La vorto ja indikas, ke
temas pri iu aĵo, kiu estas portata en la kontraŭan direkton, doi ne pri iu
elektronika pordo aŭ elektronika en-/el-irejo.
Mi forte malaprabos la proponon "bekporto" aŭ "bakporto", kiu pli kongruus al
mia pronco de la angla "back port".

Joey, thank you for your proposal. Unfortunately there is one and only one
thing Esperanto cannot do: Take over words from other languages without
adapting them to its grammatical and phonetic structure. Absolutely impossible.
Where should we stop? The language is meant to be easy.
So we could adapt "backport" phonetically as "bekporto"* -- but that already
has a (nonsenical) meaning in Esperanto ("beek carrying"). It is much easier to
adapt it semantically. The word "retroport(aĵ)o", which has been proposed,
seems quite suitable; in fact it was the first thought that crossed my mind
even before I read the proposal.
Karaj kolegoj, la vorto "retroportaĵo" ŝajnas konformi al la difino (kaj al mia
ĝisnuna kompreno de "backport"). Ĉu ne?

In Debian and Ubuntu we use the term "Backports" as a proper noun.
Even in other languages it's called "backports" because it's often the
name for the repository line.
