Sorry all - I'm in the middle of work and a house renovation, so haven't
been able to check as often as I'd like.

Mynb - you're right - I'm using an SB3 and have changed servers (from a
Vista machine to a Ubuntu box). That said I recently did an update on
the SB3, so I assume this should have reset things and it should then
have found the right MAC address?

Mudlark and Syburgh - I've run ethtool and it seems to be struggling
and coming up with nada:

-Settings for eth0:
Cannot get device settings: No such device
Cannot get wake-on-lan settings: No such device
Cannot get message level: No such device
Cannot get link status: No such device
No data available
-

Any suggestions? Thanks for all the advice.
