Hmmm. I think I have an issue with that patch! LOL. Actually, Daniel (HiFiBerry) is trying to submit a patch, which deals with this in kind of another way for his boards and instead adds a new mixer control. I've already stuck my oar in and given an opinion. I really don't think it is helpful that his PCM5122 card has a second volume control, while others don't. ie. IQAudio.
