Please do not take offence, but IMHO, a user flicking switches and pulling levers without being aware of the consequences, or what those levers are switches are even supposed to do, and ending up with "undesirable" results, is not the fault of the programmer who exposed them to start with..... And I say that as someone who has recently argued, that users who do not understand that a volume control that goes past 10, to a Spinal Tap 11, need protection from not understanding that going north of 0db is applying gain, when there might not be the headroom to apply that gain without clipping/distortion. ;) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
