thanks for getting back to me.

hmmm, the isp violation is probably the biggest issue - i have a feeling
that in the uk they are gonna kick up a stink (in the uk 'british telecomm'
have got the whole thing pretty much stitched up - makes me wonder why we
have a monopolies commission??)

but it is possible, which is encouraging. i'll look into the virtual domain
thing on apache (i've used it one windows so i'm guessing it's pretty much
the same for osx) and see how i go.

next step, contacting the isp's...
