The NAT boxes I have seen and used allow for either "exposed host" or
mapping of specific ports. I am currently using a LinkSys NAT device and
have the POP, SMTP, and HTTP ports forwarded to two separate servers: One
for mail another for web. I can assure you it works with the LinkSys box.
And it worked in the past using a Mac running OS 8.1 with IPNetRouter. If
I read the specifications correctly on the other popular NAT boxes they
can do this too.

I am also using the virtual host feature of Apache to run a few different
domains. You will need to set up the DNS for this, but the original query
indicated that his friends already had domains set up. At least some of
the domain registration companies can also run your DNS for you. Or you
can make other provisions for it.

By the way,I am not sure I would recommend the LinkSys box as it has show
some problems getting hung up and requiring power cycling. Do some web
searches and check out the comments on the various vendors before buying.
