You will have to register the domains, and have the domain name 
server for that domain point to your server IP address.

You will not be able to put a server behind the NAT machine and 
access it from the internet.

Or you could set up a directory named anything.
192.168.254.200/telescopes
or
192.168.254.200/bicycles/
or
192.168.254.200/rockclimbing/

The '~' means home directory. Depending on what kind of access you 
give to your mates, you do not have to serve files out of their home 
directories. You could also serve the files out of their home 
directories, but create a alias in httpd.conf to allow access to 
those files with a different URL. Then, files in 
/Users/chasd/Documents would be served when someone hit the URL
