I guess it depends on what the blog should do - in our case I want it to be an important face to our customers - both highlighting new services and important commentary. I don't really want the home page to be all about the blog (ie Tom Peters) but would still like to have the blog exposed on the home page. maybe one way is to have a div of summary links (ie last 3 blog titles ) sort of what Wade did
