Hi : In the RS3D samples/choreographs/ there are a couple examples of skeletons controlled by objects . "Bone angles controlled by spheres" is one example , and it works very nicely .
Anyway , is this also an example of using "null objects" ? It woks great and is a good example of easy control but , in typical Realsoft3D fashion , there are no clues as to how it has been set up to work . Is it lattice mapping or what ? Nothing on any of the property window tabs offers any clues as to how it works . It's under the choreographs section , but there are no choreographs in this example , or in some of the others in this section . Several examples in this section that leave you scratching even deeper bald spots on your head trying to figure out character animation . Seems there are ton of controls , and options ... studio www.niagara.com/~studio www.studiodynamics.net > Hi all, > > the file should show that a pointwise to spheres mapped skeleton > is interacting like a skeleton with nulls in LW. > I've set the skeleton to "IK Tail, rigid head", it'll give a total other > behavior if it is set to "Inverse Kinematic".
