Hi Stef :

  Thanks !

Ah-ha ! The 's' key ! As I mentioned , 'Scale-1D' does not have the
settings you mentioned . 's' key ! OK , I'll try it tomorrow first
thing .

> btw.. I hope you get going with SDS modeling.. since SDS is really fun.. (I

SDS seems like a piece of shit to me . In theory , it's brilliant of
course , but so was RPL . SDS seems like the RPL of the modeling world .
Once again I have to become a technical wizard be-fore I can create ...
anything ! No ! & No ! & fuckin' NO !

I'm sick of it ! I just want to create ! I do not want to have my
brain conformed to the RS way , or the Maya way , or the SDS way ...

I just want to start the S/W and create stuff ... if I can't then
fuck it I'll go render fractals instead .

> You can also start out with a simple Nurbs Rotate mesh, (an Axis and a
> Profile curve)

  I mentioned I tried that . Yes , I got a snake-ish looking object ,
but it looked like one that had swallowed a small wart-hog 2 weeks
ago and was partially digested . If I can't build it right , I won't
build it , simple . It wouldn't be the first time I walked away and
hit the strip club instead .

> The Profile curve to have the basic shape of a snake of your liking, with
> basic head shape, the body, and the tapered tail part...

Yes , maybe do the basic shaping in Nurbs and then use SDS to smooth
and tweak ... I think I like that idea ! Thanks !

> Then Convert this into a SDS using the 'ToSDS' Tool in the 'SDS' Tab of the
> 'Tabbed' Toolbar, and finish of doing the details on it. Eyes, mouth, maybe
> flattening its belly side.. and so on..

Right ! Good , maybe this is how I will do my modeling from
now on . I'll try that approach , and see how it goes .

Thanks for your project and replies and nice image too !
