Well good news is perseverance has paid off - have got it working ! :)
Bad news is i'm still having a few problems getting RS to actually
"complete" rendering a lot of the frames (50% have 0 bytes) log files
show it having problems finding the sub images:
Cannot find sub image C:\Documents and
Settings\user/.realsoft/temp/BallFilerender0_box_0_0.r3i
and the batchren itself not loading for some reason. But half do render
so it must be doing something right ;)

I'll keep fiddling - it certainly has promise !
Will try to shoot you my findings direct. (Initial problems with master
and slave not starting stemmed from having spaces in config files)
Also might be beneficial to actually post these config files vs showing
on html page as I have had to re-format a lot as it seems to make a big
difference in it actually working. (ie spaces / return locations)
