Hi Mark..

Are you saying that I remember Your posts better than you yourself do?=)

I wish at times I could do that too, just leave things I dont get working directly, but I myself have a way of not giving up even when faced the fact that most ppl say it cant be done..=)... Sometime this helps out and leads to great things, but many times, time is just wasted and frustation sets in, and inspiration goes down the drain rofl..=)

Yep, the Footsteps isnt that easy either...it also needs too much correctness initially, to get things at all to work.(at least for me..) some ppl have done some good with it, but I havent yet seen any one (at least not that I remember) that have done a great walk/run and so on with it..

A good way of get things to work, is these kinds of posts on some of these features that isnt that well documented.. It gives alot when even just 2-3 ppl have such a thread about some of them..it inspires for several tips, that combined can help all to understand things abit better.. Next step to this, is like so many times discussed on the list, to collect all different small bits and tips into a more accessible form..

Really good to hear that you have some RS time now, and I will look forward to see that animated landscape anim !
Yep, alot of renderpower is more than welcome, and I am happy for ya ..!

Thx, nice to hear that you like my signature !

Thx for you taking the time to reply !

I suspected that I wasnt the only one..=)..

I remember your post on the camera movement...

I don't :)

At least you found a workaround that worked for you..

Still the LookAt should really be more intuitive and not need scripts..or need of my own dual LookAt workaround
Objects really shouldnt have to be lined up before binding them..
One really should just need to bind them and they should then directly point towards the LookAt object..
(hmm wonder if such can be setup with a script...)

Exactly my thoughts... I have a tendency to never look again at features that I couldn't get working the first time. Another example: Footsteps - I never managed to make something with it that didn't look like a drunken robot. I'm glad I have some time again to play around with RS! Right now my four CPU cores are rendering a landscape with animated displacement, it'll be ready in an hour or so, thanks to a fivefold increase in render power since last time I worked with landscapes :)

Good that there always are nice ppl like in this case Matthias that are ready to help out and that one can almost always find good workarounds, until features are implemented and bugs are fixed..
