The little tests I tried, showed that redrawing screens is much slower
than VRML. Both on the same OGL card.
So I think VRML is better optimized. Maybe because VRML is based on
polygons, I don't know.
I also have problems with the large sky dome around my city. RSView
simply doesn't show it. I think it's because of the clipping size.
But I couldn't find a way to change the clipping distance.
And as VRML is working ok I just didn't invest much time in this new viewer.

Will more & more powerful OpenGL cards solve the scene
complexity issue for you in the future ? Or is it simply
not that easy for very complex , high geometry scenes ?
