Partial shadow effects :-? Do you have a picture :-? I don't know what a partial shadow is. Do you mean, that the objects overlapping the shadow :-?
@ alpha shadow setup: I can try to set up a shader..... But if you need it in one renderpass, maybe the only solution is one renderchannel with the objects + alpha (maybe defined via identifier) and a second renderchannel for the "shadowcatcher" with some additional rays or something like this..... (much more fiddling, than a second render, where you set the unwanted objects to "camera invisible") Matthias ----- Original Message ----- From: Ville Tirronen To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, May 17, 2010 2:55 PM Subject: Re: Matte shadows Best option would be alpha shadow export and later on compose it with After effects. Could this be possible? Also I tried matte shadow example and it gives only partial shadow effects. I made an example years ago, but now I really don't remember how I did that. It must be the old age now :) Maybe Juha could help us? Ville On 05/17/2010 10:31 AM, Matthias Kappenberg wrote: It's in the "Material" as Texture Map.....
