I'm communicating with several FreeBSD-powered folks who is helping
to improve support for this system in Midgard. In particular,
ICONV(3) should not be a problem in future. We need to add some 
logic into configure script to detect library paths for FreeBSD
and I have it on my TODO list very close to the top.
