Hello Aaron!
FA> The concept of adding Servlet support to Avalon is interesting though. FA> Wouldn't have to be just HTTPServlet support either. Thought I'm not sure FA> what advantages this would have over just hosting jetty or tomcat. Why not do it one day? In fact such a thing would probably help shake out just about _any_ bugs from our thread pooling code.. I'm also not totaly convinced it should be servlet spec support, maybe we should better just define an appropirate Avalon Interface to handle HTTP requests, and here we go, an alternative to Servlet spec. Somewhat easier and cleaner, IMO - HTTP support rather then servlet spec. I do keep in mind it is possible but I'm in no rush. And, yes, as it has been discussed earlier if standard extension mechanism shapes up adding HTTP support would probably be similar to adding JMX support. Again I'm personally in no rush about this, but bearing in mind it might be good to do it one day. -Anton --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
