Hi Andrew,

Ideally, this would be the same ;)

When talking about an office-base solution, please also keep in mind how
to present this to the user. Currently, there's no possibility to embed
spreadsheets and presentations into a database document. This means as
soon as you use those kind of documents, you have a collection of files.
While, in OOo, it is easy to find an entry point into a database (F4 in
Writer, as the easiest), it's currently difficult to present a
collection of files to the user.

That said, I'm not sure we shouldn't stick to a single database document
in the first run.
On the long term, there could be different ways to have an solution
spanning the whole office functionality, but none of those which spring
to my mind (I surely miss some) are qick to implement for one of the
next minor releases.

Not sure about this one. Again, I wonder how to present this. "Base
Example (novice)" up to "Base Example (Expert)" (not as plain as this,
but you get the idea)? Half of the users would judge themself wrong an
open the wrong document :)

Perhaps when addressing different user levels, different scenarios are
better (even if this means more effort).
My assumption here would be that there's a (rough, not perfect) relation
between the experience level and the problem domain: A novice user is
more likely to wanting to create a video collection, and somebody
wanting to creating a video collection is more likely to be a novice user.

Ciao
Frank
