I think the collection of common tasks to document and implement should
be grouped into logically bunches. I suggest splitting into groups like
these:

interaction
        buttons, menus
connecting tables
        subforms, listboxes showing table contents
controls
        combo boxes, list boxes
Macro snippets
short funtions for opening forms, writing values

Although while writing I see it is hard to decide which belongs where it
could be nice to have, items belonging together could be linked for
jumping to each other.

The idea is to have an independant set of help snippets that could be
used as documentation for the sample databases in an m:n relation. The
databases only need to store the correct help index key to show a
certain aspect to the learning user.

The page http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Common_tasks has been updated with your groupings. I am not sure this is the final breakbown but it is a good start.

Remeber this is a wiki, so as in XP programming where- no one owns the code, because everyone owns the code - meaning here, I don't own this ( just will try to maintain it)...so .feel free to add to / edit the page(s).

Oh, for the record the other part of that alagory to XP program development - you break it, you fix it. ;>)

Ciao,
