Is it better to tell a user that you do not support their product is, or to provide support that might be, and probably is, inaccurate?
These are valid points, but not the ones I was arguing against.
I still believe that we should be as helpful as possible and explain to the user that they can download an update for free and things like this rather than ignoring the fact that we know what Perfect Pro Office is.
