Unfortunately, Gary, the site to which you provide a link above still offers
build OOO300_m4. FileHippo and several other sites provide downloads for the
WinIntel32 version and I've successfullydownloaded the new version on my
Windows setups. This evening I was, in fact, able to find RC1 for Linux on a
German site, but alas, no deb.tar.gz, but only a tar.gz version. I'm sure
the former will become available in a couple of days ; in the meantime I
shall study patience....
