Some have noted that some of Gillette's product sold in the USA are the same
size as seen in Europe and elsewhere, but with an FFU declaration instead of
SI. Other products seem to be rational SI in the world and rational FFU in
the US. I don't buy shaving cream, so I was wondering if the same product
in the US is an equivalent of the 300 mL or something totally different.
Maybe we ought to suggest to Gillette that making all their products SI only
and labelling them SI only, with a empty space under the SI, so a additional
label can be stuck on with FFU to satisfy the US market for now , would be a
solution to part of their problem.
Maybe if companies like Gillette see a cost disadvantage, now that they are
in trouble, to their use of FFU for the USA and SI for everywhere else, they
could be a force to get the government to change the FPLA quickly to allow
SI only.

Funnily enough, I bought Gillette Foamy shaving foam in England a
couple of weeks ago. The 300 mL can was made in Finland and had
English, Finnish, Swedish and Danish text on it.

Instead of Gillette cutting jobs, they can cut the
imperial units like OZ, PT, QT, etc from their
products labels and save some money and retaining jobs
at the same time. This will also help them, export
those products incase if the demand in the US falls.
