Charles, have you checked on the Brembos? You can replace the BS rotors
from the max with ones from Brembo, 300 & 320 mm. Also a different pad
material. I would bet you could find a wrecked 916 or 996 and get the
calipers. Having brackets made wouldn't cost that much.
