It is of vital importance that the switch you install to reverse the
polarity is a self centred or spring centred switch since the motor will
burn if the power is kept on for a long time, plus the battery drain. I got
the toggle switch from a car electric window push button and works very
well, I just press for a couple of seconds and the valve is fully open and
the opposite. When the engine is not running you can clearly hear the motor
running and stopping at the end of its travel. Just one thing I had to add
and it's a tricky one was an adjustable stop screw for the fully open
position, drilled the V-boost's top bracket threaded it and put a small
screw and counternut. The reason for this was that I noticed if you turned
the pulley to the fully open position, the butterfly not only reached the
full open position, but travelled more and started closing the passage once
more till the flight edge on the butterfly contacted the valve body.
