Also, if you just crank the motor for a while with all the plugs out, it'll
dry things out in short order. If it's really cold, and/or you're in a real
hurry, you can dry out the plugs and the cylinders with ether (it's the
stuff in the spray cans marketed as "starting fluid") Just spray the plugs
and let them dry for a minute. Spray some in the cylinders and crank the
motor for a few seconds and it'll clear out the gas. Two things, though,
don't spray too much in the cylinders, because it'll remove the oil film on
the sides, and don't leave a bunch in the cylinders, replace the plugs and
crank it over, or you can damage your heads.
